Boltless Shelving Channel Beams
Channel beams are used in boltless rivet shelving systems to increase shelf capacity by maximizing usable storage space between upright posts. Unlike traditional angle beams, channel beams allow shelving to span left to right without center interference, making them ideal for storing larger or wider items.
Manufactured from 14-gauge steel, these beams provide strong horizontal support while maintaining the boltless rivet-style connection used in standard shelving systems. Channel beams install into shelving uprights in the same way as other rivet beams, allowing shelves to be adjusted easily as storage needs change.
Channel beams are commonly used on upper shelving levels to increase clear storage space across the shelf. They are not intended for use on the bottom level of shelving installations.
