How It Differs from Standard Open Shelving

Standard Open Metal Shelving is usually arranged for primary access from the front and uses bracing for stability. Double-sided pass-through shelving is designed without rear cross braces blocking the opening, allowing products to be reached through the unit. Top and bottom shelves secure the structure, while intermediate shelves can be repositioned on the post slots.

Layout and Ordering Considerations

Plan usable aisles on both sides and confirm the shelf width, depth, count, and rated capacity for the selected model. Many pass-through units are supplied as complete four-post sections that can stand alone or be installed side by side or back to back.
